The Activities
The following projects and
events are part of the culture advisor’s activities:
1. Witness discussions
in schools
Every year, in co-operation
with professors and/or teachers of history or social science, the
culture advisor organises meetings at schools with people who have
experienced themes such as escapes, expulsion and integration. These
are carried out in the form of discussions with students, or in
the form of readings by witnesses from their memoirs, or authors.
Possible venues are various secondary and grammar schools. The project
puts its main emphasis on schools with Czech partner schools, respectively
schools in the Bavarian, Saxonia and Bohemian border regions. Information
is readily available for anyone interested in teaching positions
within the educational programmes.

4. Study trips to
the Czech Republic

is, of course, the cultural, historical and traditional ties to
the regions in question (the Bohemian (Sumava) Forest , Egerland,
Krkonose Mountains etc .). The culture advisor takes part on the
these trips and is responsible for the on-the spot organisation
